The challenge

Based on learnings from the initial group of City Cancer Challenge (C/Can) cities, the city project team and the city manager need a guiding document/tool to execute, develop and ensure the quality of project outputs. C/Can will develop guides on how-to and methodological guides to support the city manager and the city project team in delivering these outputs.

The goal

To provide guidance to the city manager and city project team during the project execution and sustainability phase of the city engagement process, and develop this guidance in accordance with international benchmarks.

How

C/Can has engaged specialists from its roster of experts, who were nominated by C/Can partners specifically to develop the guides. The C/Can Technical Cooperation team provided oversight, offering the experts advice to ensure each guide was prepared according to the context of the city and its projects.
