The city’s nuclear medicine service requires systematic quality control programmes.

The goal

To harmonise cancer imaging and increase access to diagnosis to provide quality cancer care.

How

By developing a nuclear medicine quality assurance programme in the city, in consultation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Impact / Achievements

A quality assurance programme for nuclear medicine has been developed and the Quanum audit checklist has been implemented in the HUV.
