Cancer is the second most common cause of death due to chronic non-communicable diseases in Argentina and accounts for a fifth of all deaths in Santa Fe, the province that includes Rosario. By joining C/Can, Rosario’s city leaders will strive to build multi-sectoral programs to improve access to oncological care, in close cooperation with international experts and interested organisations.

Needs and challenges in Rosario

A multidisciplinary technical committee of local experts and institutions is currently undertaking an analysis of the state of cancer care in the city and identifying essential priorities.
