Beatrice Okumu is a health system strengthening expert with substantial experience in programme design, stakeholder management, and Cancer Control. As the City Manager for Nairobi at City Cancer Challenge (C/Can), she oversees multisector initiatives aimed at improving access to cancer care in the city, collaborating with the Ministry of Health, Nairobi County, healthcare providers and institutions providing cancer care.
Before joining C/Can, she worked as a project Manager at Amref Health Africa, coordinating and implementing community programs in addressing the burden of non-communicable diseases.
She holds a micro master’s in project management and a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton.
