Rosa González is Digital Product Manager & Digital Programme Manager at City Cancer Challenge (C/Can). As a digital health expert with over 20 years of experience advancing health information systems, she supports LMICs in developing digital solutions for cancer care. Previously, she led C/Can’s projects in Asunción and served as Vice President of the Paraguayan Society of Health Informatics (SPIS) and is currently a member of the Community of Women in Digital Health of Latin America by RECAINSA.
She has held key roles at Fundación Unidos contra el Cáncer and the Ministry of Public Health in Paraguay, driving digital innovations to improve cancer care and patient outcomes, among the most outstanding projects are the Electronic Registry of Population-Based Cancer in Paraguay, the Cervical and Breast Cancer Prevention platform and the citizen and governmental application Akuerapp together with the Open Data Portal.
She is currently working on a new global platform strategy that will enable cancer-focused digital transformation for C/Can’s network of cities.
