Olivia is the Communications & Engagement Manager at City Cancer Challenge. She is a Communications professional with a diverse background in strategic communications, project and team management, stakeholder engagement, capacity building, creative production, content development, and media management at both international and regional levels.
She has extensive knowledge of development issues, gained through her work with international organisations, the private sector, and NGOs—particularly in the fields of global health, ocean science and sustainability, climate change, and food systems transformation.
She has worked with a range of clients, including UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission, the Environmental Defense Fund, the Aquatic Blue Food Coalition, the Center for Ocean Solutions at Stanford University, and EAT.
Before becoming a full-time consultant, she served as Communications Manager for Target Malaria, an international not-for-profit research consortium, where she led communications strategy and outreach for an innovative malaria control tool in Africa.
Olivia holds a Master’s degree in Journalism and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the Institut des Hautes Études des Communications Sociales (IHECS) in Brussels. She is a Belgian and Finnish national.
