Miguel Ángel Jiménez Ceballos is the City Manager in Concepción for the City Cancer Challenge (C/Can). With a solid background in public policies, management and access to medicines, and more than eight years of experience in public health, health systems, government affairs, pharmacoeconomics and health technology assessment, he has worked in various institutions of the Chilean Ministry of Health.
He was Head of the Department of Health Providers at the Health Secretariat of his region, where he evaluated public and private sector medical projects, improving health systems with a focus on equity and sustainability. He joined C/Can with a commitment to expanding access to cancer care and promoting innovative initiatives that improve people’s lives.
