Sophie Bussmann-Kemdjo is the Regional Director for Africa and Europe at City Cancer Challenge (C/Can), where she leads the planning, coordination, and implementation of initiatives to transform cancer care. With over a decade of experience in African engagement, she is dedicated to fostering collaboration as a driving force for sustainable healthcare solutions.
Her career spans law, consulting, and global development. She began at Lenz & Staehelin and EY in Geneva before transitioning to the non-profit sector at the World Economic Forum, where she built strategic partnerships with African governments and business leaders.
Sophie holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and an MBA. Fluent in French, English, and Spanish, she brings a global perspective to her work in advancing cancer care across Africa and Europe.
