Natia Verdzadze is Global Breast Cancer Initiative (GBCI) project and Tbilisi City Manager at City Cancer Challenge (C/Can). With over 13 years of experience in public health and health management, she leads GBCI projects to support cities/counties in C/Can in implementing the GBCI Framework (WHO) to improve breast cancer outcomes worldwide. In her role as a Tbilisi city manager, she leads initiatives to strengthen cancer care in Tbilisi, collaborating with local and international stakeholders to improve access to and the quality of cancer care.
Previously, she served as the Head of the Healthcare Programs Division at Tbilisi City Hall, where she was responsible for overseeing healthcare initiatives, policy implementation, public health programs and managing collaborations with national and international health organisations.
