Marlene Mumukunde is the Global Programme Manager at City Cancer Challenge (C/Can), where she supports the operationalisation of the C/Can model across different cities to strengthen their cancer care systems. She previously served as the Kigali City Manager, leading a multi-sectoral collaboration to improve access to quality cancer care for the people of Rwanda.
With over a decade of experience in health and social impact interventions, she has worked to advance health equity and build strong, resilient health systems in low-resource settings. She holds a Master’s degree in Global Health Delivery and is a passionate advocate for reducing health inequalities. Throughout her career, she has successfully worked with governments, healthcare institutions, and diverse stakeholders to drive systemic change, improve access to quality care, and implement sustainable public health solutions.
