Lisa Montel is Technical Cooperation Manager at City Cancer Challenge, where she designs and guides the implementation of city and cross-city cancer care projects. She serves as C/Can’s technical focal point for palliative care, and for health information systems, including cancer registries. She is also responsible for assessing the effectiveness of capacity development interventions. Previously, she worked at the International Atomic Energy Agency where she supported member states to assess their cancer control capacity. She holds a PhD in Cancer Epidemiology and the Right to Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
