Valentina Gizzi is a seasoned executive with a distinctive expertise spanning Life Sciences, Food Ingredients, Chemicals, and Automotive sectors. Her impactful journey includes key roles such as Director of Commercial Operations & Marketing at Edwards Lifesciences and General Manager at DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences.

As an Independent Board Member, Valentina brings her wealth of experience to the City Cancer Challenge Foundation’s governance committee. She also serves on the board of various privately-owned companies in the watch and medtech industries. With a dedicated focus on sustainability, she actively participates in the B-LAB Swiss Boards for the Agenda 2030 coalition. Additionally, Valentina holds the position of President at Cercle Suisse des Administratrices.

In recognition of her contributions, Valentina was elected among the 100 personalities advancing Switzerland in 2023.

Having operated globally, she has a profound understanding of Asia, South America and MENA,  and she is proficient in English, French, Italian, and Spanish—alongside a foundational Arabic.
