Isabel Mestres is the Executive Director of City Cancer Challenge Foundation (C/Can), an organization dedicated to improving cancer care in cities around the world. With over 18 years of experience in leadership, business development, stakeholder engagement and global resource mobilization, she has worked in both international NGOs and the private sector. Her extensive experience in managing international organizations and implementing strategies in the health sector has allowed her to lead initiatives that promote collaboration between cities, governments and the private sector to strengthen health systems and ensure equitable access to cancer care. An advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion, Isabel strongly believes in challenging the status quo to uncover the breakthroughs of the future, fostering a purpose-driven culture, where leaders model the values and behaviors they expect from others.
