Barcelona has become a beacon of excellence in cancer care, research, and technical cooperation. Through the active support of leading Catalan institutions such as Institut Català d’Oncologia (ICO), Hospital del Mar, Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, and the Catalonia Cancer Plan, City Cancer Challenge (C/Can) has been able to strengthen local capacities in cities around the world, supporting both inbound knowledge sharing and outbound technical cooperation.

To recognise and celebrate this partnership, C/Can proposes organising a dedicated event to acknowledge the Catalan Government and the broader Barcelona health ecosystem for their outstanding commitment to advancing global health.

The event will also serve as a platform to share what’s next, announce potential new partnerships (Clínic Barcelona Comprehensive Cancer Centre and Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology) and highlight additional opportunities for collaboration and reinforce Barcelona’s ongoing role in shaping the future of global cancer care.

Please note that this event is by invitation only.

We thank our partner AstraZeneca for their support of this event.
