Today, City Cancer Challenge Foundation (C/Can) launches a new call for applications to join its Board of Directors.
C/Can Board Chair, Professor Sanchia Aranda highlights the importance of candidates’ leadership to support C/Can’s commitments to cities and people:
“In today’s challenging environment, the Board is reinforcing C/Can’s purpose to support cities to deliver sustainable solutions to cancer. At this critical time in C/Can’s growth, we want to bring together thought leaders who have the experience and innovation mindset to question the status quo and drive new ways of working so that we meet the expectations of all our stakeholders.”
Innovate, lead, transform
The C/Can Board of Directors is the Foundation’s governing body, with extensive authority over decision-making and administration. Board members are required to comply with the Foundation’s Statutes, Constructive Engagement Framework, and the principles of good governance and are expected to represent the organisation to the global health community to support meeting its strategic objectives.

Who should apply?
C/Can is inviting anybody interested to submit their online expression of interest before 17 May 2021 to be considered for a position on C/Can’s Board of Directors.
