Dr. L. Nneka Mobisson has two decades of experience driving innovation and improving population health outcomes. As co-founder and CEO of mDoc, a telehealth company which leverages behavioural science to support people with or at risk for chronic disease, she is pioneering a large-scale system for virtual self-care support in Africa.
Dr. Mobisson was Executive Director for IHI Africa, where, through her leadership, IHI expanded its efforts at driving large-scale improvements in healthcare. A pediatrician, Dr. Mobisson was Vice President of Community Health and Population Health Management at the Connecticut Hospital Association (CHA). She worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. She has also worked at The World Bank and Merck.
Dr Mobisson was recognised as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. She is an Ashoka Fellow, a Forbes Africa New Wealth Creator and a Yale Associate World Fellow.
Dr. Mobisson holds an MD/MBA from Yale, an MPH from Emory, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. She completed her Pediatrics residency at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
