Jörg-Michael Rupp is the Chairman of the City Cancer Challenge (C/Can) and a Director of Roche Pharma International. In his current role as Head of International 7 Areas in Roche Pharma, Jörg-Michael serves as a member of the Pharma International Leadership Team.  Having worked at Roche since 1985, he is a dynamic leader with extensive expertise across the business lifecycle, from local marketing and sales, to global marketing and late stage development for a blockbuster product franchises, to General and Regional management in Europe, Africa and Latin America. Immediately prior to his current role, he served as Head of Roche LATAM.

A defining feature of Rupp’s tenure is his three years of leadership of the Emerging Markets Project, a global reimagining of Roche’s approach to ensuring access to medicines in all emerging markets.

Through his service at Roche, Mr Rupp has come to appreciate the power of multi-sectoral cooperation by governments, patients and the private sector to improve the cancer patient journey.  Hence, he offers unwavering support for City Cancer Challenge.
