Abubakari Jaliu is the City Manager in Kumasi for the City Cancer Challenge (C/Can). In his role, he leads initiatives to improve cancer care in the city, collaborating with 38 health institutions to evaluate and strengthen cancer diagnostic and treatment services. Under his leadership, training programmes for surgeons have been implemented and specialised equipment has been provided to local hospitals.

With a strong background in public health and community development, Abubakari has worked with CARE International in various capacities, including as a Project Facilitator for the UN-Habitat Project and Field Agent in different regions of Ghana, implementing community-based health and development programmes.
