Chika Kitajima is the Asia Regional Director of the City Cancer Challenge (C/Can). She leads efforts to strengthen cancer care in cities across the region and drives C/Can’s donor diversification and fundraising strategy in Asia.  Previously, Chika spent over a decade at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance as Senior Manager for Resource Mobilisation, where she secured major contributions from Japan, Korea, Qatar, and Thailand. With 15 years of experience in the UN system, including managing donor-funded programs at UN Volunteers (UNV) and UNICEF, Chika has deep expertise in grant negotiation, project management, and government relations.
