C/Can and Yogyakarta collaborated to:
1. Identify gaps in breast cancer care
2. Improve coordination between health institutions
3. Define priority actions for implementation in Yogyakarta and across Indonesia
The programme built a blueprint other Indonesian cities can replicate under national leadership, in alignment with WHO’s Global Breast Cancer Initiative (GBCI) Framework, as well as Indonesia’s National Cancer Action Plan (2024–2034), and Indonesia’s Breast Cancer National Action Plan launched in February 2026.
