Our work begins with a locally-led needs assessment, bringing together city stakeholders to identify gaps in cancer care through data-driven analysis. By understanding the city's unique context, we saw where intervention is most needed to achieve transformational change in cancer care.

When a city joins the C/Can network, we start by diagnosing the city’s health system, investigating gaps in the city’s cancer care, and building a foundation for change by bringing local stakeholders together to lead the transformation.

We co-create a strategic plan and a programme with each city driven by local priorities. Locally-led projects are executed and monitored to ensure lasting impact. When projects conclude, we support cities to sustain and accelerate their progress.
